Grooming Requirements

  1. Additional charges will apply if your dog’s fur/hair is matted – A mat is a mass of tangled hair/fur but also might be comprised of burrs, barbs, particles, skin dander or debris. These can be found often close to the skin.
  2. Rabies, Parvo and Bordetella shots are required to have your dog groomed.
  3. Optional cage free grooming when used in conjunction with day care available 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. for dogs that are social, fixed and have proof of up to date shots only. If you do not want your dog in a kennel during grooming a $20 Day Care Fee will apply. Please see day care services for additional charges in conjunction with grooming cost.

*We only do external not internal glands on dogs 35 pounds and under unless specifically requested by the dog owner.

Holiday Reminders

Our grooming services are closed on the following days: the day before and the day of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.

(702) 558-5689 to make sure the appointment time you want is available. PLEASE NOTE: proof of Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations are required and must be presented at the time of your grooming appointment.

  • Grooming Release

    The groomer at Just Like Home Doggie Hotel and Grooming has my permission to groom my dog(s). I understand that Just Like Home and the groomer will not be held responsible for any conditions or problems discovered during grooming that my dog came in with. If there is a condition the groomer or owner was not aware of, the groomer will contact the owner immediately and inform the owner of the situation. Should veterinary care be necessary for the dog, it is the owner’s responsibility to come pick up the dog and take the dog to a veterinarian of their choice.

    Just Like Home, its owners, managers and groomers will not be held responsible for clipper burn, minor nicks or skin irritation resulting from grooming. Just Like Home, its owners, managers and groomers do not pay for veterinary bills related to grooming incidents.

    Just Like Home owners, managers, or groomers will not be held responsible in any way for any dog that may suffer from stressful effects that grooming can sometimes cause, especially for the geriatric dog.

    Just Like Home has the right to refuse to groom any dog due to the dog’s age, medical condition, or aggressive behavior. If the groomer finds that one of the above is prohibiting him/her from performing a good grooming service, the groomer will contact the owner and advise the owner of the situation.

    If the dog’s coat is extremely matted, it may need to be shaved down. WE WILL ONLY SHAVE YOUR PET WITH YOUR CONSENT. A matted coat prevents air from reaching your pet’s skin. A matted coat can cause your dog to itch the skin underneath. If such is the case and the groomer attempts to call you to discuss and you cannot be reached, the groom will be discontinued until we are able to reach you by phone to confirm you approve of this. Just Like Home, its owners, managers and groomers will not be responsible for the after effects or skin appearance of the dematted dog. Shaving can uncover conditions of the skin not normally seen before grooming. There will be an additional $10 charge to groom an extremely matted dog.

    Your groomer will call to notify you when your dog(s) are done. From that time, you have 3 hours in which to pick your dog up. After the 3rd hour, if you have not arrived, there is a $10 day care charge per dog to stay in day care.
