What to expect and What to Bring

What to expect & What to bring

Reservations are required for day camp. If you are scheduled to bring your dog but need to cancel, please call at least 24 hours in advance.  A quick phone call to let us know that you and your dog(s) are on your way to day camp will help speed up the process of dropping off your dog(s) in a timely manner.

Campers are not required to bring meals, however, if your dog normally eats a meal during the time he/she will be staying, please bring in a well-marked baggy or container with your dog’s name and time of feeding.

All dogs must wear a collar and ID tag.

Dog treats are provided mid-day for our guests.  If you do not want your dog to have a treat, please let us know in advance.

You are bringing your dog to Just Like Home to be active throughout the day.  If there are any medical reasons your dog should not participate in normal exercise activities or you wish the exercise to be limited, please let us know prior to entry.

Although we supervise and encourage safe play time with other dogs, you may prefer not to have your dog socialize with others.  If this is the case, please let us know.  You and your dog’s comfort is very important to us.

If you are accustomed to taking your dog to local dog parks, then you are aware that dogs play with their mouths. We do not permit rough play between dogs, however, occasional cuts, scratches, and bites could occur as dogs can be unpredictable. For this reason, if you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with this possibilityyou may want your dog to experience Just Like Home in one of our separate outdoor play areas.

Medicine:  If your dog takes medication, please let us know and provide accurate written instructions and labeling for administration.  We do not charge extra for medicine administration.
